Tiger Woods #1 mistress Rachel Uchitel seems to be doing well these days.  Reports have come out that the Celebrity Rehab star has just purchased a Park Avenue apartment for $2 million.

The 3-bedroom home is located in the most exclusive part of Manhattan.  Rachel reportedly funded the purchase with part of the $10 million “hush” money that she is rumored to have received from Woods.  Her real estate transaction went off without a hitch.

Rachel thinks it’s a great place to raise a family.  The new digs feature a fireplace and white-glove service, a doorman and security.

Woods has also purchased a luxury Manhattan apartment, and was seen moving in last weekend.  He is also building a $54 million mansion in exclusive Jupiter Island, Florida.

Chelsea Handler dropped a few not-so-subtle hints Wednesday night that she and boyfriend Dave Salmoni have called it quits.

“Up until a couple weeks ago, I was working very intimately with the Animal Planet, but unfortunately, that contract was terminated,” she said during her Chelsea Lately monologue.   “However, I enjoyed being in bed with them and may hook up for an occasional project.”

Salmoni, 34,  appeared on a July 19 episode of Handler’s show, where she introduced the Animal Planet Into the Pride host as her “rumored lover.”   See video

Handler, 35, then confirmed she was dating Salmoni during a July 21 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  “It’s nice to date somebody who can protect you from a bear or a lion,” she quipped.

The couple were last seen together in August at a Natasha Bedingfield concert.  See photos

Handler’s rep would not confirm the split, saying only, “She saves all commentary about her personal life for her own show.”

Chelsea is set to host the 27th annual MTV VMAs September 12 at the Nokia Theatre.

Melissa Gorga, sister-in-law of The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, will be joining the cast during season three of the Bravo reality show.

In a Today Show interview with the cast, Giudice wouldn’t confirm rumors that a relative would be joining the show.  When wondering who might stir up trouble now that Danielle is gone, Kathie Lee asks, “If she’s not there, who will push the buttons?”

“Somebody else,” says Hoda.  “Who is the girl?  Your relative might be on it…what’s her name?” she asks Teresa.

“I have no idea,” claims Teresa.

“Oh you know.  What is her name?  There’s a relative that we’re supposed to talk about in the chat that we didn’t,” presses Hoda.

“There’s a few relatives actually,” says Teresa.  “A lot of my friends got interviewed,” she continues non-committed.

There has also been no official confirmation from Bravo, however, cameras have been filming at Gorga’s home for weeks, according to reports.

31-year-old Melissa, who’s maiden name is Marco, is married to Teresa’s brother, Giuseppe Gorga.  She and her infant son were reportedly the source of the controversy between Teresa and Danielle on the reunion special.

“Danielle always likes to hit below the belt, and she brought up something that had nothing to do with the show,” Teresa says of the incident.  “I said to her not to bring up my family.”

“Melissa’s husband used to have a landscaping business and then he got into real estate. And she used to do his paperwork as his secretary and now she is a housewife,” a Giudice family friend tells RadarOnline.

“Their house is actually twice the size as Joe and Teresa’s. It’s enormous! She has two live-in nannies and lives in a $4 million mansion on an exclusive lot in Montville. Teresa and Joe’s house looks like a garage compared to theirs.”

The Gorga home, a 13,500 square foot European-styled mansion, which features an Italian marble foyer and dual marble stairways, an enormous kitchen, custom fireplaces and domed ceilings, was listed for $4.5 million, but was pulled off the market shortly after news broke that Melissa might be joining the RHONJ cast. Kelly Osbourne put on a sexy little something and hit the stage with the Pussy Cat Dolls on Wednesday night at the famous Viper Room in Los Angeles.  Osbourne teamed up with Dancing with the Stars alum Mya and Carmen Electra, who also took part in the Burlesque Revue.

The starlet stripped down for a performance that she called “slinky and sexy.”  Prior to her performance she ‘tweeted’ pics of herself … dare we suggest that girlfriend looked amazing.

The raunchy show may well be headed for the big screen.  It was reportedly filmed for Donovan Leitch’s new documentary Sunset Strip.

After her performance she gave a Twitter shoutout to Robin Antin, founder of the Pussy Cat Dolls: “I can’t thank you enough for tonight.  I had so much fun! I f******* love you Robin!!!!!!!!”

The singer, who recently lost a ton of weight, ended her engagement, and lost her dog, seems to be bouncing back in fine style.

Jennifer Aniston had a dinner date with a mystery man at Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood on Wednesday night.

They sat at a corner table in The Terrace Room, a restaurant with sweeping views of the city.  They enjoyed a two-and-a-half hour meal that included a shared ice cream sundae before leaving in separate vehicles.

Rapper T.I. and his new wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle, 36, were arrested late Wednesday night and booked on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies collared the couple on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood around 10:30 p.m. during a traffic stop.  An officer smelled marijuana and searched the car – shades of Paris Hilton and Cy Waits.

The arresting officer discovered drug evidence and the couple was taken into custody, according to L.A. deputy Mark Pope.  This is certainly bad news for the 29-year-old Grammy-winning rapper whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr.  He is currently on probation following a stint in federal prison for a weapons violation.

Bail has been set at $10,000.  T.I. and Tiny were released from the West Hollywood sheriff’s station at 4:00 a.m. this morning.

T.I. co-starred as a ghost in the movie Takers.  The flick hit theaters over the weekend and grossed $20.5 million – beating out the rest of the competition, according to Box Office Mojo.  Our very own Danni Starr attended the movie premiere and interviewed all of the celeb’s from the film – check it out here.

Victoria Azarenka collapsed and fell to the ground while chasing down a ball on the baseline and had to be taken off the court in a wheelchair Wednesday.

The 10th-seeded Belarusian was trailing Argentina’s Gisela Dulko 5-1 in the first set on the Grandstand court. The temperature had reached 90 degrees with 42 percent humidity by 11:30 a.m. On-court temperatures topped 100 degrees.

About an hour after the match was called, Azarenka’s agent confirmed that she had been taken to the hospital.

Initially, heat exhaustion was blamed for her collapse but it was later revealed that Azarenka suffered a mild concussion when she hit her head in a fall in the gymnasium earlier in the day.

Azarenka called for a trainer as early as the third game of her match against Dulko.  Azarenka moved slowly throughout the match. Before serving the first point in the seventh game, she hesitated and winced in pain. After the point, she knelt down on the court for a few seconds.

Two points later, she stopped and crumbled to the ground. Medical personnel rushed to her side and after a few minutes Azarenka was helped into a wheelchair and moved off the court.

James Jay Lee, an environmental extremist, has been shot and killed following a hostage situation at the Discovery Channel headquarters building in Silver Springs, MD, a suburb of Washington DC.

Lee, who recently published a manifesto listing his demands to the Discovery Channel, entered the building earlier today carrying a gun, and possibly explosive devices.

According to an eyewitness, Lee walked into the building “wearing what appeared to be metallic canister devices on his front and back” and carrying a handgun, before taking three hostages.

A SWAT team entered the building, and shot and killed Lee at 4:48pm EST, when Lee pulled a gun and a “potentially explosive device appeared to go off on the suspects chest” and the hostages were considered to be in imminent danger.

A bomb squad is currently combing the Discovery Channel headquarters to ensure the safety of the building.

Michael Douglas appeared on CBS Late Show with David Letterman Monday.  He shocked his show host and the audience by acknowledging that a biopsy of his cancer revealed it is in the most advanced stage and is potentially deadly.

David Letterman asked the 65-year-old Wall Street actor if Stage IV was a good diagnosis.  Douglas replied: “Um no.  You like to be at Stage 1…but it was not.  The big thing you’re always worried about… is it spreading.”

Stage IV cancer, the worst prognosis, has spread beyond the original tumor and is very difficult to cure.  Douglas said he has an 80 percent chance of recovery.

Douglas is married to actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.  They have a son Dylan, and a daughter Carys – see family photos.
